i there, I am having Apple iPhone 3G and this is an incrediblemobile phone with an exciting features. This phone is integrated with Bluetooth 2.1 AVRCP. I want to what are the meaning of Bluetooth 2.1 AVRCP and what the complete features of it are. But something I know this related to audio and video control. Please help me.
Re: AVRCP with iPhone 3G S
AVRCP is designed to provide a standard interface to control TVs, hi-fi equipment, or others to allow a single remote control (or other device) to control all the A/V equipment to which a user has access. It may be used in concert with A2DP or VDP. In AVRCP, the controller interpret the identified user action to the A/V control signal, and then broadcast it to a remote Bluetooth facilitate device.
Re: AVRCP with iPhone 3G S
With the help of Bluetooth 2.1 AVRCP you can gain a complete control over the following things:
PDA
Mobile phone
Remote controller
AV devices such as:
Headphones, player/recorder, timer, tuner, monitor, etc.
Audio player/recorder
Video player/recorder
Tuner
Amplifier or a headphone
Re: AVRCP with iPhone 3G S
The AVRCP describe two task, that of a controller and target device.
Controller – The controller is normally measured the remote control tool.
Target – The target device is the one which distinctiveness is being changed.
For example: In a "walkman" type media player, the control device may be a headphone which offers songs to be skipped and the target device will be the definite medial player.
Re: AVRCP with iPhone 3G S
The Audio/Video Remote Control Profile (AVRCP) describes the services and procedures necessary in order to make sure interoperability between Bluetooth devices through audio/video control purpose in the Audio/Video allocation scenarios. Thisprofile indicates the possibility of the AV/C Digital InterfaceCommand to be applied, and it recognizes easy implementation and easy operability.
Re: AVRCP with iPhone 3G S
I am truthfully don't know if it will permit full AVRCP..However I'm hoping so!
My major problem is the deprived sound quality through the present Bluetooth in the present iPhone 3g...sounds like crap.
If they can repair the sound quality, then I'll definitely encompass a motive for wanting AVRCP to work. But A2DP is quite meaningless without it

yes they look exactly the same and at the back the 3GS also says “3G” same as the 3G iphone. the easiest way to tell is to go to camera and see if the phone has video. if it has then it is a 3GS. you can also check to see if it has a compass (the compass app is in the homescreen, pretty hard to miss). only the 3GS has one.
edit: oopsie justin is right there is no 3G label at the back. i just checked my iphone.

iphone 3gs has a 3.0 megapixel camera, video recording, voice control, water resistant, and the battery lasts longer,
November 8th, 2010 at 6:38 am
To tell the difference their are different methods
The iPhone 3GS and iPhone 3G look exactly the same but the imprint of the name “iPhone” and all those copyright information matches the Apple logo’s reflective mirror on the 3GS. On the 3G it’s just gray while the Apple logo is a reflective mirror.
The iPhone 3GS is also way faster than the iPhone 3G. It’s not just a gimmick it’s really true.
Also it records video from the Apple Camera App. It has a slide.
You can also tell by looking at the size if it’s a 32GB it’s definitely a 3GS if it’s a 16GB use the method I said about the imprint and everything…… because the 16GB is available with the 3G and 3GS.
If it’s not jailbroken, go hold down the Home button and check if Voice Control comes up.
Hope that helped….
Also the box can be used too and the model number.
P.S. it doesn’t say 3G or 3GS on the back at all… just iPhone. The person who said it says 3G on the back is wrong…. he/she’s probably never had an iPhone 3G or 3GS at all. The 3G and 3GS are not water resistant at all.
