I've looked up the internet this but its not really specific how they did it some people say yes some people say no, so if anybody knows let me know!

All you can do is put your sim card in it and see if it works. I know you can take a sim card out of a regular phone and put the sim card in the go phone and it will work.

The cable is a good quality and sturdy cable. The only negative seems to be that back ups of my phone and data exchanges seem to take a little longer but it’s not that noticeable. I’m not sure if that’s the cable or my computer/phone. I’ve broken at least four of the cables from Apple with no more than gentle use. They’ve all broken in the same place at the neck of blade plug in. With this cable’s sturdier connectors, I look forward to having a cable that I hopefully won’t have to replace in 6 months.

I ordered this item to connect my iPod to my USB port on my car stereo. While the USB seems to have no issues, the connector that fits into the iPod is misshapen or something. You have to hold the connector to the iPod in just such a way to keep it connected. Or, if you can manage to get the connector to line up and set it down in your console, the connection will be lost every time you hit a bump. Sure, it’s a low price, but I don’t think I even got what I paid for in this instance. The cord is junk.

This is a high quality cable of sturdy construction for syncing and ipod or iphone. I have warn through the connections end of several of lesser quality cables.

I have had a couple of these cables from different manufacturers and have heard the same stories with friends and family about the Apple usb cables breaking easily. The last cable I had was the retractable one and that was pure junk. For half the price of 1 apple cable, I was able to buy 5 of these cables and that included shipping. Ten dollars total for 5 cables! That is pretty unbelievable. 3 days after I placed my order, the cables were in my hands. They are incredibly durable, thick cables. They fit my iphone 3g perfectly and charged the phone from dead to 100 percent in about 45 mins.
If you’re frustrated from searching the net, trying to find a durable, long lasting cable that is inexpensive look no further. These cables rock! :) I personally recommend buying a few of these as you only pay 1 cent for the cable itself and then shipping is like 3 dollars. Best thing you can do is grab 3-5 so you’ll always have a backup, just in case!

The cable arrived in good quality packaging. The cable itself was like new, and fit my 30GB Ipod perfectly. Charges and transfers just as well as the old cable that came with the Ipod I lost.
