Review by A. Cortez for Silicone Case Cover for Apple Iphone 2G 3G 3GS (Black)
Rating:
I recently purchased a used Iphone 2G and needed a case for it to cover up the wear and marks on the back and choose something inexpensive. I had enjoyed using a silicone case for my old Blackberry and figured I would continue the trend with this product. Unfortunately this product didn’t fit. I would recommend to anybody that if you still have an old Iphone 2G do not purchase a case that says it fits both the 2G and the 3G because these phones do not have the same dimensions. In my case the silicone cover was slightly too large on my 2G, and basically and eyesore, but I bet it would have fit snuggly on the slightly larger 3G. So technically the product fit both phones but it was simply too big on the 2G.
If you still have a 2G only by a cover/case made specifically for that phone!

The silicon cover for the Iphone is reasonable enough for the price. It does not provide safety for the Iphone. But it does protect it from scratches and light falls. Add a scratch proof screen to the front panel and the Iphone will be free from scratches.

It covers it fine, but is definitely loose! plus like in the picture it looks like its covering the lower and top portion of the phone, just showing the screen, this one that i got is not like that, it basically covers the back and thats about it. the whole front is open.
the only bad things about this is that:
1) its LOOSE!
2) it attracts dust like crazy!!
cheap so ok

I have an iPhone 2g that I just bought off craigs list. I jailbroke it, and unlocked it so I could use it for T-Mobile cuz thats what I have, and before I even jailbroke it, I put my T-Mobile sim card in, and it would let me make and receive phone calls, but only as “emergency calls” only. Then I took my sim card out, and did the whole jailbreak and unlock process, I then tried re-entering my T-Mobile sim card, and the phone keeps saying “no sim”, it will not recognize it ever. Suggestions plz?
